Does your child have no idea how to start a story?
Are you unsure of how to guide your child to write a story?
If so, our creative writing holiday programme for Primary 1 and Primary 2 pupils is the perfect holiday programme for your child to learn the complete steps to writing an English composition.
From the planning to the writing, we guide your child through the complete process of writing an English composition using our SPACE writing strategy. In addition, our teacher will discuss the content with your child to identify story gaps and discuss possible logical actions. By developing critical thinking skills, our English composition workshop provides a strong start for your child on his way to being an independent writer.
Besides content, the use of language is also important for English composition. Therefore, our workshop introduces the vocabulary words which are most suitable for Primary 1 and Primary 2 pupils. We understand that forming of sentences can be a challenge for some Primary 1 and Primary 2 pupils. A special focus of our Primary 1 and Primary 2 English composition workshop is the introduction of sentence structures, sentence starters and sentence middles. This means that our teacher will provide clear and thorough instruction for your child, from the learning of vocabulary, to the forming of sentences and finally, the writing of the complete English composition.
Our workshop provides clear and simple steps that Primary 1 and Primary 2 pupils can easily follow when writing an English composition. At the end of the workshop, your child will leave with a strong understanding of the writing skills required to write a logical story.
